The Willeys is a band that has evolved constantly since its inception in 1986 and with the release of the first disk "Lifeline". The original band consisted of Andy Willey on guitar and vocals, Rick Willey on fiddle, mandolin, and vocals, Jim Saltsman on drums, Janet Shelby on bouzouki and vocals, and Fred Story on bass.

Over the years various musicians have come and gone (including the likes of Michigan Mark and Diane Iannelli) but the band has lived on. The current lineup still includes Andy and Jim, joined by Mark Svekric on bass and vocals, Chris Olsen on guitar, bouzouki, and vocals, and Craig VanOtteren on mandolin and vocals.

The Willeys play original tunes written by Andy or Chris, dancable folk-rock with a worldly edge.
